A short service with light refreshments, served before hand, singing a selection of well known and loved hymns and chorus for the senior citizens of our community.

To enable those who have transportation issues, we provide a pick up and drop off minibus service for this event.

Depending on the time of year, we have served Cream Teas for our Harvest Songs of Praise, and Mulled Wine and Mince Pies for our Christmas Songs of Praise service.

An opportunity to gather the senior citizens of our community together to sing some hymns that they know and love, played by a contemporary worship band. We also made space before each Hymn for someone from the church to share a personal testimony about that song.

To challenge some long held stereotypes of what church is like, the room is layed out in a 'cafe style' ensuring there is ample room for wheelchair access etc.

Those that either haven't been to church in a long time, due to transportation issues, or those who have never been, have the opportunity to sing some familiar hymns and hear a personal gospel message from those leading the service.
