Host a Christmas treasure hunt, either in your street or around the local church. Hide wrapped chocolates, candy canes, and then provide refreshments afterwards inside. Setup a Christmas stable scene with the baby Jesus missing and have a second treasure hunt with him hidden somewhere inside, explain about Jesus' Birthday.

This is a fun and simple activity to run, which engages the community, or your friends and their children in some festive cheer. It provides an intentional opportunity to explain about Jesus' Birthday. It is important that guests understand what they are being invited to, and so don't feel that the more religious content is sprung on them.

To raise awareness of the meaning of Christmas.
